Computerworld posted an article (Which I read from Slashdot) predicting an inevitable fall of Twitter because, in it’s current model, it isn’t capable of competing directly with Google+.
They go on to state because G+ can do all the things that Twitter can do that inevitably Twitter will be a ghost town.
For the past few weeks I have been playing with Google+ and today I terminated my account. Despite having so many extra features at my disposal I found myself stuck in the same stagnant social network loop. People post inane posts, pictures, and articles and others comment incessantly or click +1.
What Twitter offers is the same content delivery mechanism of posting pictures, audio, video or link without the extra bloated nonsense. No long string of inane comments, and forced brevity. A forced character limitation to keep everyones timeline simple. (Don’t get me started on Twitlonger).
So, while the world adopts G+ at an overwhelming rate, I have opted to remain with Twitter, and as a one social network kind of guy.
